A history of cell phones
Although the patent of a wireless telephone was issued in 1908 by Nathan B. Stubblefield, it was only later on in 1947 when Bell Labs developed the technology further. The more modern mobile phone was said to be invented by Motorola, which developed a heavy and bulky but nevertheless portable handset in 1973.
