Viral ads are here to stay and it is hailed by many as the next mass marketing tool the world over. Almost everybody has a mobile and with them comes an untapped market for ad companies. Having ads sent to your mobile is as easy as an sms message and its costing next to nothing. Everybody from burger chains to just about any form and shape of industry, they’re jumping in.
“All viral means is that you’ve created a message that people want to share,” says Gregg Spiridellis, who founded animation and design studio JibJab with his brother. “If people want to pass it along, that’s what brand marketing is all about.”

In the age of the social internet, that is one of the advantages of haviong all your friends just a click away. You get to share and enjoy stuff online that would be impossible physically due to distance and time limitations. Viral ads are the way to go and more and more people would surely get onto the fad as time and technology speeds up the way people communicate over the internet and beyond.
