Well, more of your health rather than your phone’s, for being one of our most used gadgets they are also the dirtiest so regular care and cleaning is in order. There can be so much dirt and grime on your phone that it can even cause some functions to, well malfunction. Keypads cease to function, the display dims and other keys seize up. Get a well used phone cleaned from time to time in the service center to remove any dirt that may find it’s way into the casing, reaching the internal electronics. The nooks and crannies are a favorite breeding ground for bacteria and viruses (cold virus and more). Though considered to be throw-away items due to their compact design, any failure is mostly sure to be sign of a need for a replacement.
Drops and falls are not well accepted for it cracks the PCB board which is what holds and connects the several hundred or so micro electronic parts together. There are several layers of foil which allows the phone to work, a crack, however small can sever vital connections so be careful. Dropped your phone in the toilet (it happens), if you had the courage to fish it out, turn it off immediately and take it apart, removing the battery and casing to expose the internal parts. get rid of as much water as you could by blotting with absorbent material. Do not use a hair-dryer for too much heat can crack the display and melt plastic components. Let it dry out naturally for a couple of days and try it out. If it fails to work, take it to the service center for cleaning and checking.
